Microsoft hat sich auf den 5 Oktober 2021 festgelegt, ab dann können Enthusiasten ein manuelles Update auf Windows 11 oder eine Neuinstalllation mit der dann bereitgetellten ISO durchführen.
Nochmals zur Erinnerung: offiziell Unterstützt wird wirklich nur ganz aktuelle Hardware, im Detail:
- CPU Intel ab Generaton 8, AMD ab Ryzen 2
- mind. 4 GB RAM
- mind 64 GB Speicher
- UEFI & Secureboot
- TPM 2.0 Modul
Alle anderen können beruhigt bei Windows 10 bleiben, außer geänderter Optik verpasst man derzeit nicht viel. Die Unterstützung von Android Apps kommt auch erst später.
